The image the album cover is trying to portray is one of darkness. People that buy this album are maybe depressed or lonely. they might just like slipknot

I dont really watch talbloid talkshows but when i do i find them kind of funny because the people on the shows are the weirdest people they can find to put on the show. thats why they are popular with teens.
I think tv tabloid talk shows do exploit people becuase it makes for more entertaining tv. Nobody wants to watch people with regular lifes, because it's boring. people want to see societys freaks and tabloid talkshows show people what they want to see.

FRESH PRINCE: It's an upperclass family that lets there nephew will come and live with them. The relation between the family members is that Will is the nephew of Phil and Viv and his mom doesnt want him hanging out with the bad kids so Viv lets him move in with them. Carlton is wills cousin and Will likes to make fun of him because he's so preppy. The impotance of family in this show is that they always help eachother out when they are in need.
Seinfeld: They are a group of friends that create a surrogate family. The roles of the family are jerry will always try and help his friends get through a situation even if it benefits him not to help them. Kramer is the wierd one that everyone likes but usually causes problems with his wackiness. George is the one that claims to be "Costanza, The king of the idiots". Elaine is kind of the one that tries to keep things in order.

My definition of a family is people that are related to eachother or a are close with your family. The purpose a family serves is just to be there for eachother. I dont think members should serve a certain roll, everyone should do there part to help out when needed.

OR a family with your friends.
TV doesnt really play a role in bringing together or kepping apart my family. TV is just kind of there.

the four people i have chosen for this media log are my mom, step dad, tyler gulbis and tyson blight. my mom would fit into the belonger category she buys the regular brands and basically fits the description pretty good. my step dad jeff would fit into the societally conscious achievers because he bought a grain stove in so we didnt use wood anymore and he's all about saving energy. tyler gulbis would also fit into the societally conscious achiever group because he's all about peace and love and not fighting. tyson blight would fit into the emulator group because he's kind of into whatevers cool at the time.

Sexy inc. is a documentary about the hypersexualization of the younger people. this movie is very informative i agree with everything that they had said in the movie. the topics that are discussed in this movie are clearly visible in our school. i can see where hypersexualization is influential in kids younger than me it shows through the brats commercials and how they have to look good all the time. there is a line between pornography and sexual saturation and i think the line is definitely blurred. i believe it is too late to back off on hypersexualization because it's part of our culture and it's something we cant change in a small amount of time
